EastEnders fans reckon a d.e.a.t.h is looming in Albert Square following the revelations from Tuesday’s episode of the much-loved BBC One drama.
The storyline unfolded as Nicola Mitchell (portrayed by Laura Doddington) decided to revive an old family tradition known as ‘Half Christmas’, hoping to lift the spirits of Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman), with Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) less than impressed.
Zack Hudson (played by James Farrar) got unexpectedly pulled into the mix when Harry deceitfully invited him, pretending it was Barney’s wish.
While Nicola went all out with the festivities, Teddy confronted her with some harsh truths.
Teddy’s revelations drove Nicola to ransack the decorations just as Barney and Harry get back.
Alarm bells started ringing among fans on social media, with one asserting: “I think the half Christmas is a sign Nicola might not be making it past Christmas, if not her then someone else in the household.”, reports Belfast Live.

This week continues to build suspense with preparations for a gathering at Nicola’s where Billy and Honey Mitchell attempt to join in with high spirits, only to be stunned when Zack turns up.
Harry revels in seeing Zack get the boot from Nicola, while Teddy is seen consoling Barney.
Teddy later assures Barney of his support should he decide to seek a relationship with Zack.
Dinner at Walford East serves up more turmoil for Nicola and Barney when they encounter Zack, culminating in an emotionally charged evening at Harry’s Barn where Nicola and George Knight (Colin Salmon) find common ground over mutual heartbreak.
