Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise star Élizabeth Bourgine has treated devotees to an early glimpse at the much-anticipated 15th series with filming ongoing in the lush climes of Guadeloupe. The French star shared a montage of images from the set on Instagram, one labelled “Shooting series 15 of Dᴇᴀᴛʜ in Paradise.”
Élizabeth, at 68, posted an image from the production monitor depicting her character Catherine Bordey looking strikingly into the lens. An additional photo displays a beaming Élizabeth keeping herself refreshed with a portable fan amidst a respite. Fans flooded the comments section with anticipation, as one penned: “Can’t wait to watch, looking beautiful as always.”
Another voiced their approval: “With each season it just gets better and better! Looking forward to 15.”

Catherine’s latest update arrives while concerns over Don Warrington’s portrayal as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson persist among fans, particularly given his resignation from the force in the series 14 climax of the cherished series.
Social media was flooded with calls for Selwyn’s reappearance, with comments such as: “With Selwyn back, please.”
Additional praise went to the new detective lead, with a fan remarking: “Love the new inspector! His storyline is so interesting. I hope it isn’t the end of Selywyn. I always look forward to his scenes.”
As the future of Selwyn in Saint Marie remains uncertain, he found himself replaced by Sterling Fox (Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge) before reclaiming his position following Fox’s brief tenure.
The series finale delivered an unexpected twist when Selwyn, played by Don Warrington, made the shocking announcement of his departure from the force to visit his daughter Andrina (Genesis Lynea), admitting: “I won’t be staying. It felt wrong to say yes. Too much has happened and right now I can’t see a way to get back to how things were.”
