Dr Todd dies in Emmerdale according to a flashforward, leaving fans guessing who kills her.
The twist aired recently during a showdown with Mackenzie Boyd. Mack confronted Todd after he found out she had blackmailed and then raped his wife Charity Dingle.
With Charity speaking out and keen to take action, Mack threatened the case when he went and had it out with Todd. Of course Todd denied everything and tried to paint Charity as a liar.
Mack saw right through the villain though and threatened to “bury” her. A flashforward, very brief, then appeared on the screen that showed Dr Todd lifeless, and in a pool of blood. So how does Todd die and who is to blame? A spoiler involving Vanessa Woodfield could be a major hint…

Does Dr Todd die in Emmerdale?
It seems so, as the soap confirmed a crime would be committed involving Todd. As said, the flashforward was very quick, but long enough to show a dead Todd.
There was blood, and a photograph was taken. This was taken by forensics at a crime scene, therefore seeming to confirm that Todd had been killed, and an investigation was underway.
After all, if Todd was alive, they would be rushing her into an ambulance, not taking photos. It’s not known how she dies, but Emmerdale has hinted that someone is to blame.
Who kills Dr Todd?
It’s not known yet, with it teased another whodunnit is on the way. Again, Emmerdale hasn’t actually confirmed what happens to Todd or even when it happens.
We only got a small glimpse, while Mack had teased violence. This could be a red herring though, as fans think it’s way too obvious to be Mack that kills Todd, after his threats to her.
As it’s a flashforward, it’s likely not happened yet and therefore the killer has not struck. More scenes will air in the coming weeks leading up to the death, including Todd’s flame Vanessa Woodfield finding out Todd has been accused of sexual assault.

Who do fans think the killer is?
Fans are convinced newcomer Serena Sugden could be to blame. She’s been supporting Charity in secret for weeks, and urged Charity to take legal action.
Amid fears she’s up to no good, could she be like her killer cousin John? Then there’s Vanessa, who is about to find out what’s gone on with Todd. Could she go to see her brief fling and confront her?
Could it lead to Dr Todd turning nasty once more, resulting in a showdown that leads to Vanessa turning killer? Then there’s returning character Sadie King.
As far as we know there is no link between Sadie and Todd, but it hasn’t stopped fans wondering if she could take down Todd. Another theory is that Todd’s bullying victim Jacob could take revenge on her, especially if she lets slip to him that baby Leyla is not his biological daughter.

When does Dr Todd die?
Again, nothing is known. The fact that the scenes have been filmed could suggest it’s very soon. That said, this might be different as it’s a flashforward.
It wasn’t indicated how far into the future the scene was taking place, and how far after Todd’s run-in with Mack. That means it could literally happen at any point in the future.
