JACQUELINE Jossa’s EastEnders family have been a pillar of strength during her troubled marriage – and this week was no different when they united for a cast dinner while her ex Dan Osborne was away with their kids.
While the soap star looked happier than she had in months, enjoying quality time with her co-stars Jake Wood and Scott Maslen, we can reveal Jacqueline‘s secret turmoil behind the scenes as their separation turns toxic.
In March, The Sun revealed Jacqueline had finally ended her marriage with former Towie star Dan after a tumultuous 13 years together.
Despite being renowned for taking Dan back after countless splits, friends of the EastEnders actress were confident she wouldn’t reconcile with her bad boy ex, who admitted in 2020: “I’ve made mistakes” after their marriage was rocked by multiple cheating allegations.
Now we can reveal how Jacqueline HAS cut ties with Dan – making clear she only wants to communicate about their two children, Ella and Mia, and even blocking him on Instagram.
It puts an end to any speculation that Jacqueline could be holding onto the idea of saving her rocky marriage.
A source close to the former couple told The Sun: “Things are at an all-time low for Jac and Dan.
“They are no longer talking about anything other than the children. Jac has even blocked Dan on Instagram.
“They’re co-parenting mostly through Dan’s mum, who helps with the communication.
“Jac is being firm but fair. She needs this distance to break free of old habits.
“Thankfully, she still has a good relationship with his mum, but Jac’s mum doesn’t want anything to do with him.”
Dan is believed to have moved out of their family home in February to live in a house he bought behind Jac’s back in 2024.
We told how he later got cold feet about making the break permanent and going through with the divorce — but Jacqueline stood her ground.
Ever since, Jacqueline has thrown herself into working on the BBC soap – loyally supported by her long-standing colleagues.
Meanwhile, Dan has kept himself busy travelling up and down the UK as part of his money-making business, Prize Paradise.
He has also been on holiday numerous times – showing off countless snaps of his tanned and toned body to his one million Instagram followers.
“Anyone else want to be abroad 52 weeks a year..?” he asked, while on a recent trip to Marbella.
Dan even made time for a holiday romance with a stunning Brazilian bikini model, Etila Santiago, while on a trip to Miami earlier this year.
Fitness enthusiast Dan shared several photos of himself topless on Instagram, writing: “Happiness is found in 3 things: Letting go of what was. Enjoying what is. And having faith in what will be.”
However, Jacqueline was alerted to the rendezvous after she and her pals noticed Dan and Etila posting matching sunset and poolside photos on social media.
She confronted him about it when he was back in the UK.
This week, Dan recognised the end of his marriage for the first time when he talked about partners coming and going in life.
Celebrating his 35th birthday and his daughter turning eight, he took his three children – including Teddy from a previous relationship – to Center Parcs in Woburn, Bedfordshire.
He wrote: “Mine and Mia’s birthday weekend. Mia wanted Center Parcs for her birthday, she loves it there!
“It was such a lovely weekend, can’t believe Mia is 8 and I turned 35 this weekend!!
“I don’t know where time has gone, but by far my biggest achievement in life, is being daddy to these 3 incredible little humans of mine.
“They really are my best friends, everything in life comes and goes, money, friends, partners, material things… but these three, they’ll always be mine & man I feel so lucky to have them.”
Their children’s happiness appears to be the only thing the rowing couple agree on.
In a heartfelt post on Father’s Day, Dan wrote on Instagram: “The only thing in this world that is truly ours, our children.”
In a similar sentiment, Jacqueline shared snaps of her with Mia and Ella, saying: “My everything. My reason for being. My girls.”
However, Jacqueline won’t have seen the post Dan made praising their kids – because she’s no longer following him.
Our insider added: “Jac was sick of seeing him on holiday while she deals with the reality of day-to-day life post-split.
“Jac’s spent years worrying about him and what he gets up to. She’s not interested in having his new single life paraded in front of her on Instagram.
“They celebrated their daughter’s birthday separately, and Jac snubbed him on Father’s Day – despite normally praising him online for being a great dad.”
Jacqueline first joined Albert Square in 2010, aged 17, as bolshy Lauren Branning.
She was recently nominated for best dramatic performance at the National Television Awards — losing out to co-star Steve McFadden, who plays Phil Mitchell.
It followed her powerful performance in the soap as Lauren dealt with a painkiller addiction and her newborn son’s sight impairment.
Jacqueline first met Dan at an awards ceremony in 2013 and started dating soon after.
She fell pregnant a year later and tied the knot at Delamere Manor, in Cheshire, in 2017 in a glossy photoshoot for OK! magazine.
