You will be ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED when Vicki’s next move in EastEnders is revealed — and what it does to Sharon will leave viewers devastated…
EastEnders' Vicki Fowler is set to break sister Sharon Watts' heart by secretly planning to sell their late father Dirty Den's ring to fund her honeymoon ahead of her dramatic wedding to Ross.
Sharon Watts is poised to have her heart shattered as Vicki Fowler makes a major decision in the lead-up to her wedding.
EastEnders spoilers have disclosed that Vicki (Alice Haig) contemplates flogging her father, Dirty Den Watts’, ring to fund her honeymoon in forthcoming scenes of the BBC One soap, which leaves Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) questioning her motives.
Actress Alice Haig featured on Morning Live on Wednesday (May 20) to discuss Vicki’s impending nuptials and an exclusive clip from Monday’s (May 20) episode was shown before hosts Gethin Jones and Gaby Roslyn chatted to the soap star.
In the footage, Kathy asks Vicki” Why does this look familar?”. Vicki confirms: “Probably because it was my dad’s.” Kathy continued: ” Yeah that’s right. It’s the one Sharon found on the market just before they dredged the canal.”
Vicki pointed out: “It’s worth at least a grand. Enough for a semi decent honeymoon at least.” Kathy asked: “And, Sharon is alright with that is she?”, reports OK!.
As Vicki remained silent, Kathy explained: “You can’t go selling the family silver and not tell her.” However, Vicki hit back: “He’s my dad too! You know Ross has worked his socks off to pay for this wedding. I want him to know that, you know, it’s not gone unnoticed.”
Viewers will have to wait and see if Vicki pawns Den’s ring and spoilers have revealed that Vicki and Ross’ wedding day culminates in a dramatic showdown as Ross comes to the realisation his bride-to-be has cheated on him. While Vicki prepares for her wedding, Zack Hudson (James Farrar) presents her with a bracelet, hoping she’ll wear it as a sign he still means something to her, but she declines.
Later, Ross Mashall (Alex Walkinshaw) discovers Zack in a sullen mood. Zack suggests that Vicki might be having another affair and plants seeds of doubt about whether Ross can truly trust her.
On the wedding day itself, Vicki is brimming with anticipation, though troubled by Ross’s quietness. Meanwhile, Zack probes Ross about his intentions to go ahead with the ceremony, then attempts to persuade Vicki against marrying the wrong person.
A confusion with her wedding transport leaves Vicki having to use the tube, causing her to run late. At the venue, Ross becomes increasingly anxious as his doubts intensify following his previous conversation.
Vicki finally arrives with Zack appearing shortly afterwards, but as the ceremony commences, Ross has an epiphany and demands to know if Zack was the man she slept with.
Previewing the wedding day chaos, Alice, who joined EastEnders as Vicki last year said: “In the lead up to the wedding, Vicki has been having an on-off affair with her sister’s brother Zack, which is complicated in itself.
“She has such a love for Ross, who she is marrying, but Zack has been there for her since Ross’ son beat her up really badly. However, Vicki is so ready to marry Ross so fingers crossed.”
