EastEnders identity thief finally exposed during tense confrontation after brutal dumping

EASTENDERS’ Honey Mitchell has finally discovered who has been stealing her identity to run up hundreds of pounds in credit card debt.

Monday night’s episode of EastEnders saw Honey [Emma Barton] face the shocking truth that she’s been conned by someone very close to her.

After Ian Beale [Adam Woodyatt] celebrates his first win at the Walford East local elections, villain Bea Pollard – who is working with him on the campaign – is left furious when he brushes her off romantically.

Honey and husband Billy [Perry Fenwick] are keen to know if Bea will move out of their spare room now Ian has won, but she’s left furious when he tells her it’s not going to happen between them.

He tells her: “There is no us, OK? You’re nuts.

“You’re living in cloud-cuckoo-land. You’re a deluded, needy fantasist who is just trying to live their life through other people.”

And it soon got worse for Bea.

As she tried to tell Honey she ended things with Ian, he arrived – with receipts.

He showed Honey invoices for his election campaign in her real name, Susan Mitchell, and said: “She’s the one who’s stolen your identity.”

But Ronni Ancona, who plays Bea, recently teased that the character being exposed actually makes things worse for Honey and Billy.

She told Digital Spy: “It’s going to get so much darker for Honey and Billy.

“I would say that Bea increasingly spirals, and she becomes more dangerous as a result.

“I think Bea almost blacks out with anger.

“There is something in her that switches when she is triggered, and at that point her actions become deeply malevolent.”
