EASTENDERS’ most evil EVER m.u.r.d.er.e.r is making a shock return to Walford.
The vile k.i.l.le.r last appeared in 2024 when the truth about his horrifying crime was exposed.
The Sun can exclusively reveal that legendary actor Christopher Fairbank is making a comeback as the villain Eddie Knight.
Racist Eddie m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d George Knight’s biological dad in a racially-motivated attack after effectively buying George for his wife to raise.
The evil k.i.ll.e.r was finally brought to justice decades later and sent to prison in 2024 for his crimes.
He will return to Walford later this year.
A source said: “Christopher Fairbank is returning as part of a new storyline that will see George Knight at the heart of the drama.
“Whilst it’s only a short stint, his return kicks off a bigger storyline that will spark troubling times for George and the wider Knight family.”
An EastEnders spokeswoman confirmed the return, adding: “We can confirm Christopher Fairbank will be returning to EastEnders for a short stint later this spring.”
Actor Christopher has been in some of the most memorable films in history.
He appeared in Tim Burton’s Batman, The Fifth Element, Pirates of the Caribbean, Guardians of the Galaxy and its two sequels.
On the small screen he’s appeared in everything from Z-Cars to Coronation Street, Prime Suspect to Wolf Hall.
The actor has already begun filming his return to EastEnders.
His comeback comes after his on-screen son George welcomed a new daughter with Nicola Mitchell.
The storyline saw Nicola go into premature labour and their daughter remains in hospital as she continues to grow.
