Things are heating up once more in Emmerdale as upcoming episodes have even more drama in store for viewers at home. As villagers demand answers from every nook and cranny, there’s lots more to come.

The Leeds-based soap hasn’t had a quiet few weeks, as although Tracy Robinson and Cain Dingle decided to bury the hatchet at Nate Robinson’s funeral, the search for his real k.i.l.l.e.r is still ongoing.

As Charity Dingle offered to be Sarah Sugden’s surrogate, Mackenzie Boyd felt betrayed that his wife hadn’t opened up to him about this first.

After finding out through Eric Pollard, Mack offered Charity an ultimatum – either their marriage, or the baby.

Not to mention Dr Crowley got his comeuppance as his revenge plan with Joe Tate crumbled when Kim Tate figured out his sinister twist.

Here’s what’s to come next in the Dales…

Moira Dingle makes a dangerous decision…

Moira and Cain are left seething when Joe warns he’s determined to get their land for Kim. Shortly after, Joe tells Dawn he has a plan in motion. Moira assures Kyle and Isaac that they aren’t losing their home, but once she’s gone, they hear a noise coming from the barn.

When investigating, they find two masked teenagers, one of which is Dylan, and in a blind panic, Kyle accidentally stabs Dylan in the leg with a pitchfork before Moira scares them off.

The Dingles are divided…

Cain blames Joe and wants to seek revenge, but Moira wants to involve the police first. Despite PC Swirling’s investigation, Joe denies involvement and there’s nothing to build a case on. Giving into her anger, Moira goes to hit Joe and catches Lydia accidentally she warns him to stay away from her family.

Kyle is horrified to find PC Swirling arresting Moira who later tells her in confidence that it’s not looking good for her case. Things get heated between Sam and Cain at the Woolpack leading to Cain giving Sam an ultimatum: to choose to side with the Tate’s or the Dingle’s. What side will Sam be on?

Mack struggles to open up to Charity…

There’s excitement in the air as Sarah and Charity get ready for the hospital. Mack tells them he needs to work at Butlers. When Mack bumps into Aaron and reveals he isn’t going to the hospital, Aaron urges him to talk about it.

A breathless Mack arrives at the fertility clinic and Charity tells him the procedure went well. As the family celebrates, Mack misses his opportunity to express his feelings.

Aaron urges Mack to discuss his surrogacy concerns with Charity. Sarah and Jacob’s attentiveness overwhelms Charity, who begs Sarah to go out. Once alone, Charity voices her worries to Mack but will Mack voice his true feelings?

April reunites with Dylan…

After Dylan’s stint in rehab, viewers have been waiting for the two teenagers to cross paths again, especially as April continues to struggle with life back in the village.

Belle is left with a decision to make when Marlon asks her to revoke April’s apprenticeship. Belle tells April they can’t go ahead, but realising it’s Marlon’s doing, April pleads her case and Marlon allows her to go ahead with it. Laurel is sure she sees someone in the bushes and later, whilst Laurel is talking to April, something catches April’s eye in the hedges.

Leaving flowers at Donna’s grave, April knows Dylan is hiding in the bushes and urges him to come out. Dylan reveals he’s clean and April is happy to have her friend back. Later on, as Dylan is ready to sleep at the Cricket Pavilion, he checks his leg where Kyle stabbed him and it’s not looking good.

When Dylan and April catch up the next day, they plan a date, but when Ray arrives, Dylan abandons his date. Will he come clean to April?

John thinks he’s found some dirt on Robert…

There’s never drama far behind when it comes to the feuding half-brothers, particularly as they both vie for Aaron Dingle’s affections.

Robert tries to glean information about John saving Jacob’s life, but Jacob rushes off. Robert’s mind is whirring as Pollard recounts stories of all the villagers John’s saved. Robert remains undeterred after voicing his opinion that John is too good to be true to Chas, who was having none of it.

When Robert notices John has left his phone on a nearby table at the cafe, he tries to unlock it but when John arrives, he hands over the phone, leaving John worried. John voices his concerns about Robert to Chas, who thinks Robert’s just jealous. Victoria tries to persuade Robert to get some help but when he refuses, John agrees to ask Liam to check in on him.

John sneaks into Keepers and secretly leaves a small listening device. After listening into one of Robert’s conversations, John is buoyed to finally have some dirt on his brother.
