Emmerdale fans ‘crying’ over Robert and Aaron news as Robron’s future revealed
Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle were part of some huge, show-changing news on Emmerdale on Wednesday that sealed their future on the ITV soap, and fans were emotional
It’s safe to say Emmerdale’s latest move concerning Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle has won over viewers.
Fans were left thrilled and some said they were “crying” after Wednesday’s episode saw the couple, known as Robron, declared the new farmers at Butlers Farm. Sealing the return of what was once Emmerdale Farm, run by the Sugdens, Robert was declared the new tenant farmer by Joe Tate.
Of course it upset the Dingles, Aaron’s family, after Cain and Moira were forced to give up the farm after trouble for months. The Tates finally got their way and convinced Moira to sell the land and the farm she has owned for more than a decade.
While it’s not yet clear if Aaron will be getting involved, it’s definitely clear that Robron’s future is at the farm, and them united. When Robert faced backlash from the Dingles for betraying Cain and ‘siding with the Tates’ to get the farm, he had Aaron backing him, vowing to stand by him and once again sealing Robron are here to stay.

Aaron wasn’t alone though, as fans also backed Robert and predicted good things to come for the pair. Some were left emotional over the twist, as others called it a “monumental” change to the show.
A fan said on social media: “I’M CRIYNG,” as another praised: “The Sugden Farm legacy is OFFICIALLY COMING BACK!” A third fan said: “That’s what Emmerdale viewers have wanted for a very long time. Hopefully Moira will also be involved in Emmerdale Farm as well.”
Another fan posted: “I’m so happy for my boys! It’s everything they deserve. How incredible that Aaron and Robert will be front and centre and will carry on the legacy together. It’s monumental.”
The comments kept on coming too with a fan saying: “The news we’ve been waiting for! I’m so excited to see all this unfold.” A further tweet added: “How did I missed this news??? Emmerdale Farm is back.”
A fan then said: “Opening the twitter app to find out emmerdale has single-handedly been saved by farmer Robron on a random Tuesday in march.” But some fans were divided, not feeling good about Moira losing her home.
One fan said: “If Robert and Aaron move in to the farm, that is a slap in the face to Moira and also both don’t seem the farming types despite Robert being a Sugden.” This was echoed by a fan who wrote: “I hope Robert get his karma with what he’s done to Moria and the farm.”
A final post said: “Robert planted the evidence that helped send Moira to prison and Aaron knows about this and they sit there as they did last night in the pub with Cain knowing what they’ve done, no Robert doesn’t deserve the farm!”
