Coronation Street star sparks rumours she’s quit soap after ‘telling post’
Coronation Street fans think they have worked out which character will be k.i.l.l.e.d off in April after the actress released a cryptic post onto her social media page

Coronation Street fans are convinced that Olivia Frances Brown has left the soap. The actress, 27 arrived as the sister of established character Shona Platt (Julia Goulding), although the cafe waitress failed to mention she ever had a sibling during her decade on the Manchester backstreet.
She made her debut in the soap’s crossover with Emmerdale in early January, when she was seen tied up in the back of a van, and has since wormed her way into her sister’s life, moving in with her and her husband David at number eight – but clearly has some sort of villainous streak about her.
Some viewers are convinced she is trying to take hold of her sister’s life but, in the flashforward that aired earlier this month, Jodie was revealed as a potential murder victim in scenes that will be broadcast in April.

No one knows who will be k.i.l.l.e.d off yet, although Jodie is one of a handful of characters who could face the chop, along with Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard), Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn), Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) and Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon), all of whom have become antagonists in one way or another.
Olivia wrote on Instagram: “Came to the cobbles looking for closure and maybe a bit of chaos. How are we all liking Jodie? Would you trust her? Thank you for all the kind messages. I’ve loved every second of bringing her to life!”
The timing of the message has made fans think that Olivia has already waved goodbye to the world’s longest-running TV soap, and her alter-ego could be about to be k.i.l.l.e.d off on-screen.
Fans of the programme, which is typically filmed six to eight weeks ahead of broadcast, quickly reacted to the post, with one writing on X: “i don’t like that this is giving last day of filming, need jodie to STAY” Another said: “I think she’s talking in past tense!” Another said: “She’s either accidentally let slip who is the body or she’s gonna be leaving Weatherfield that day either way!”

Others think this is just the actress’ way of keeping viewers guessing, and claimed that other cast members from the show had done the same, as one said: “I think they’re all talking in past tense now to throw us off as Jonathan Howard did the same thing on TM x.”
Other views of Coronation Street have previously shared their theories that Jodie will indeed be k.i.l.l.e.d off. One fan wrote on Reddit: ” Jodie met that girl called Olivia, I’m assuming Jodie was like a mother to her too?
“So it must not only be shonas life she’s trying to steal. She’s also been stirring the pot with Mal, it was actually her who took Bernie’s face off of that photo, maybe Jodie could be the one who dies and Mal is the one responsible?
“She met Betsy in the precinct aswell, and in the episode where Betsy was being questioned, she said she knew the victim, could it be Jodie?”
