Emmerdale Joe’s downfall ‘sealed’ after Celia comment as Moira framed for m.u.r.d.e.r

As Moira Dingle faces punishment for a crime she didn’t even commit on Emmerdale, another character feared the repercussions.
Joe Tate was definitely squirming over his connection to dealers and human traffickers Celia Daniels and Ray Walters, after the police questioned what had been going on with Kim Tate’s tenants. It emerged that Ray and Celia were exploiting the workers on their farm, with the land being rented from Kim.
So when it came out what Celia and Ray had done, Kim and Joe were panicked about how this looked. Joe had other ideas though, still hoping to get his hands on the land owned by the Sugdens and by Moira.
Viewers recently saw him admit to Victoria and Robert Sugden that he had video footage of Victoria k.i.ll.i.n.g her brother John Sugden. He’s now used this to blackmail them into selling up to him, as well as getting Robert to help him get Moira’s land.

Kim recently told Joe to not do anything that would see them face trouble, with Joe claiming it was all in hand. Of course Kim has no idea Joe forced Robert to plant evidence of Celia’s dodgy dealings, including IDs and documents, in Moira’s house to link her to the drugs.
When it emerged there’d been human trafficking going on too, it was too late and Moira was interrogated over something she hadn’t even done. On Monday’s episode things got even worse after two bodies were found on Moira’s land.
It was revealed one body was Anya, who fans know was left to d.i.e by Ray and Celia before Celia buried her on Butlers Farm to frame Moira. Then Ray k.i.l.le.d his mum Celia, and it appears he buried her body in the same grave.

Moira was arrested for double m.u.r.d.e.r in horrifying scenes, all because of Celia and Joe’s separate plans against her. But something Joe said in the episode to Kim could spell trouble for them too.
It may have been a hint at his downfall, as he remained panicked over his link to Celia and Ray. He was shown sharing his concerns with Kim about it not looking good for them, having been renting the land to Celia and Ray.
Fearing it would lead to questions, might the police soon ask how they didn’t know what was going on on their own land? Might him targeting Moira backfire, and their link to Celia and Ray and him knowing about the documents before planting them, or getting Robert to, lead to Joe himself being arrested or framed for Celia and Anya’s d.e.a.t.h.s? Or might someone even take revenge on him?
