SHOCK Emmerdale: Celia Presumed Dead – But Her Final Revenge Will Change Everything
Celia Daniels’ (Jaye Griffiths) evil doesn’t stop just because she’s d.e.a.d. She got so much pleasure from other’s misery in Emmerdale, she couldn’t resist one last punt.
Without even knowing she was going to d.i.e an untimely d.e.a.t.h, savvy Celia was careful to lay the groundwork to ensure utter carnage was left in her wake. Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) was easy pickin’s and it’s just a shame for Celia that she wasn’t able to sit back and watch Moira suffer.
And boy is Moira about to suffer.
Celia began her takedown of Moira when she lured her into business, then forged Moira’s signature on fraudulent invoices.
A perfect opportunity then presented itself when Celia had the chance to offer to take Moira’s things to the charity shop for her, as a ‘friend’. Instead, Moira whipped the blanket from the pile and used it to wrap up worker Anya’s d.e.a.d body. Oh and she buried the body on Moira’s land.
The police have already found the fraudulent invoices, and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) accidentally progressed Celia’s plan by planting evidence at Moira’s farm that she ran the forced labour operation.
The discovery of Anya isn’t far behind. And with Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) d.e.a.d, and the IDs and passports found in Moira’s possession, it’s almost a surprise that Moira is surprised when she’s arrested for m.u.r.d.e.r.
Moira and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) are floored when Moira has cuffs slapped on her. She fiercely maintains her innocence, claiming she’s been set up by Celia. But then comes the clanger, the police reveal that Celia’s is one of the m.u.r.d.e.r.s the police have arrested her for.
Now is the time to panic as Moira realises how damning everything looks. Cain is also arrested but released without charge. He then learns from Caleb that one of the bodies found was wrapped in Moira’s DNA-covered blanket.
Moira is being charged with double m.u.r.d.e.r, a twisted revenge plot from Celia from beyond the grave. Cain later visits Moira in prison, but is horrified to see her with a black eye and looking unusually anxious.
Teasing what’s ahead for Moira and Cain, actor Jeff Hordley revealed there will be ‘lots of prison visits’, so it doesn’t look like there’s a way out of this one. What will happen to Moira?
