Sistas Season 10: Missing Sisters, New Faces, and Big Theories — What’s Next for Karen and Sabrina?

Over the weekend of May 23–24, something big happened behind the scenes of Tyler Perry’s Sistas: filming for Season 10 wrapped!

As is tradition when production ends, the cast and crew celebrated with a food truck and a big sign congratulating everyone for their hard work. Longtime fans will remember hearing in interviews that the cast usually pools money to rent the truck as a thank-you for the crew — a sweet touch that shows how much of a family this team has become.

But this year’s wrap photo sparked more chatter than usual.

Who’s Missing — and Who’s New?

In the photo, we clearly see Andy, Fatima, Danni, and Pam — with Pam seemingly elevated into the sister circle. But then there are two unfamiliar faces:

One person in blue, standing between Pam and Andy.
Another in black and white, between Andy and Fatima.

Fans were quick to question: are these new characters or just members of the crew included in the photo?

Even more noticeable than the new faces, however, was the absence of Karen and Sabrina.

Are Karen and Sabrina Leaving?

It’s too early to say definitively, but their absence has fueled speculation that Ebony Obsidian (Karen) and Novi Brown (Sabrina) may not play major roles in Season 10 — or could even be leaving the series.

If that’s the case, it wouldn’t be unusual. Long-running shows often see original cast members move on to pursue other opportunities, just as we saw with Living Single, when Kyle and Regina departed in its later seasons.

If Karen and Sabrina really are leaving, let’s imagine how their stories could wrap up.

Karen: A Fresh Start

If Season 9 ends with Karen losing Zach’s baby but keeping Aaron’s, she might decide to leave Atlanta for a fresh start with Aaron — especially if seeing Zach and Fatima raising their own child is too painful.

This would give Karen a beautiful, emotional farewell, passing the torch (and perhaps the salon) to Pam, who’s grown tremendously since her days as Karen’s unreliable assistant. Karen’s Fresh Start could become Pam’s very own empire.

Sabrina: New Priorities

For Sabrina, perhaps she finally decides to focus less on her career and more on her personal life — maybe even starting a family with a love interest like Bayo or another new character.

It’s realistic: in real life, friends move away to start new chapters. It would also open the door for fresh characters to join the sister circle — with Pam stepping up as a full-fledged member.

New Faces — or Just Crew?

As for the two unknown people in the wrap photo?

They could simply be crew members who joined the cast in celebrating.
Or they might be new additions to the cast — possibly even new sisters to shake things up in Season 10.

Time will tell.

What’s Next?

With Sistas returning July 16, fans won’t have to wait long to find out what’s really going on. In the meantime, these possibilities feel exciting and bittersweet. Change is inevitable — but it also creates room for new dynamics, drama, and growth.
