Emmerdale favourite forced to quit village after chilling ultimatum
Emmerdale has confirmed a worrying m.u.r.d.e.r plot as one villager is told to leave town, or face d.e.a.t.h.

Emmerdale has broadcast more distressing scenes as April Windsor is compelled to exit the village.
In recent episodes of the ITV soap, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and his aggressive mother Celia Daniels (Jay Griffiths) have been plotting to vacate the area as their horrific crimes are on the brink of being revealed.
Following a romantic Christmas Day, Ray’s relationship with Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) seemed to abruptly conclude on Wednesday (December 31).
Ray, a drug dealer, informed Laurel he would be departing on New Year’s Day to “move on”, leaving her devastated.
Meanwhile, Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) and April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) schemed to liberate Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) from Celia and Ray’s forced labour operation at the farm, but their plan fell through, reports The Daily Star.

When April visited Bear at ‘work’, where he was repairing the chicken coop, she attempted to persuade him to escape, but Celia unexpectedly returned.
As April fled, Celia spotted her in the distance while Bear denied having any contact with the teenager.
Shockingly, Celia ordered Ray to m.u.r.d.e.r April, and on Wednesday, it seemed that Ray was about to commit a ruthless k.i.l.l.i.n.g.
In a spine-chilling scene, Ray picked up April in his car and made a jest about her m.u.r.d.e.r.i.n.g Callum after striking him with a vodka bottle, oblivious to her that Callum is still alive.

Ray took April to a secluded woodland spot where he’d prepared a grave. There, he confessed his mother’s sinister scheme for him to m.u.r.d.e.r April, but the teenager managed to flee.
Shortly afterwards, Ray discovered April in hiding and lunged towards her wielding a knife. However, he deliberately avoided her head, plunging the blade into a tree instead, leaving April utterly confused.
Ray then passed the knife to April, explaining he had no intention of killing her, but warned she needed to vanish or Celia would slaughter her entire family.

Ray urged April, “Run, anywhere,” whilst pressing cash into her hands. “Listen, I will deal with Celia, you disappear. If you come back alive, she won’t stop until all of your family is d.e.a.d. So go, go.”
Visibly shaken, April fled into the darkness as fireworks heralded the arrival of the New Year. Will Ray finally confront Celia? Have we seen the last of April?
