Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Sabrina Will Have A Hot Girl Summer In Response To Rich Moving On
Okay, folks — we’ve got another Season 9 synopsis!
This time, it’s for Episode 3, titled “Having Faith,” airing July 30th.
Here’s what we know so far:
“A fed-up Sabrina takes control of her life and goes searching for direction — on the wild side.”
Now let me just say… if you watched my Season 9 trailer breakdown, you already know the one part I couldn’t care less about was Sabrina blowing up at Rich for hooking up with Penelope. So it looks like the follow-up to that is Sabrina… having a “hot girl summer” or, let’s be real, acting reckless.
What happened to her whole dream of becoming a mom? So just because the man you dumped — and let’s not forget, you literally showed up at his job, dumped a box of his stuff all over the floor, and stormed out — hooked up with another woman, now you’re spiraling?
I have zero sympathy for Sabrina. Absolutely none. She claims she’s “taking control of her life” by heading to the “wild side”? Please. This feels like the kind of bad decision that’s going to blow up in her face — and then she’ll cry victim later.
Think about it: she just got her job as bank manager back. She found a stable, successful, and willing sperm donor. But because the man she rejected comes back after ghosting her for — what was it, one month? Three months? I can’t even remember anymore — she loses it? No. I’m not here for it.
Moving on to the more interesting part:
“Andy discovers deep, dark secrets during her deep dive into Dr. Cruz.”
Now this… is intriguing. But also confusing. Who the heck is Dr. Cruz?
Remember, the Season 9 production was kept under wraps. We barely got any character info this time — nothing from Actors Access except a few leaks back in May. That’s when we heard about three new characters: Rock, Dr. Vaughn, and Nia.
So here’s a theory: maybe Dr. Cruz is Dr. Vaughn. It wouldn’t be the first time a character’s name changes between casting announcements and air date. That happens more often than you think.
But if Dr. Cruz is an entirely different person? Then this is a total mystery. Could he even be the dismissive doctor Karen was dealing with in Episode 2? That would certainly connect the dots.
Either way — this storyline has way more potential than whatever Sabrina’s got going on.
