ITV Emmerdale Kev’s real son’s identity ‘unveiled’ and it’s not Lewis
Emmerdale fans are convinced they have worked out the real identity of Kev Townsend's son.
Emmerdale viewers ‘know’ the true identity of Kev Townsend’s son and it’s not Lewis Barton.
Newcomer Kev (Chris Coghill) arrived on the ITV soap this year, relocating to the Dales after completing a lengthy prison stint for bank robbery.
It was later revealed that whilst incarcerated, Kev wed Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley). Robert had assumed Kev would never gain his freedom, so he began a relationship with him as a survival strategy whilst behind bars.
Nevertheless, with Kev’s release, he anticipated that he and Robert would enjoy marital happiness in the village, leaving Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) devastated, reports the Daily Star.
Last month however, Robert betrayed Kev by sleeping with Aaron on the very day he was meant to renew his wedding vows with Kev.

Robert and Kev proceeded with their vow renewal ceremony, but unknown to Kev, Robert subsequently began an affair with Aaron.
This week though, it emerged that Kev has an estranged son. The ex-convict disclosed that he had a “crazy one-nighter” with a woman from Leeds which led to his son’s birth. Whilst numerous viewers believe his son is Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), other fans are certain he is a “red herring”.
In Friday’s episode (November 14) during Bear’s (Joshua Richards) disappearance, Dylan (Fred Kettle) tried to encourage Paddy (Dominic Brunt) to discuss his emotions. The conversation soon shifted to Dylan’s father, with Paddy inquiring: “Have you ever thought about looking up your dad?” To which Dylan responded: “No chance. Waste of space.”

Fans are now speculating that Kev’s son might actually be Dylan. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer speculated: “I think it’s a red herring…it’s making us all think it’s Lewis.
“I think maybe Lewis will pursue it, do a DNA, come back negative…and it’s actually Dylan…and he will rescue everyone from Celia’s evil clutches! ! !”.
Another fan concurred: “I was saying this Kev saves the day and everyone will like him then!” A third chimed in: “That’s what I think, too obvious now that it will be Lewis, soapland like to give us a twist.”
