Tyler Perry’s Sistas | Season 9 Episode 12 Review: Search Party
Karen is missing. She left a note that sounds like a farewell letter, Aaron panics, Sabrina assumes the worst, and Danni tries to stay positive. They all scramble to figure out what “ending this chapter” means.
Meanwhile, Andy is in her penthouse fighting off Gary — again. And honestly, I’ve lost count of how many “final” Gary-and-Andy conversations we’ve had.
😤 Andy & Gary: The Endless Loop
Gary sneaks in, pleads for five minutes, and apologizes for everything. Andy, for once, calls him out — but still lets him monologue about “our beautiful love.” Sir, you were married the entire time. Beautiful where?
He announces he’s moving to Ghana with his kids (good — stay there). But Andy’s face says it all: she’s tempted again. Girl, please.
Then Danni bursts in ready to smash him with a vase. Iconic entrance, wrong timing.
🚨 The Karen Search
Aaron and Miss Lisa argue. She refuses to hear anything negative about her daughter — classic Lisa behavior. She’s been shielding Karen from consequences since kindergarten. Aaron’s panic is justified; their baby is missing!
Elsewhere, Danni and Sabrina head to Andy’s penthouse, dragging petty drama with them. Danni’s jealous, Sabrina’s nosy, and Karen’s still missing — so maybe, priorities?
💄 Fatima vs Chaz (the Disrespect Olympics)
Over in Zatima-land, Fatima’s client Chaz shows up at her house — with a bodyguard packing heat — to “check on her.” Sir, this
Zac snaps (understandably). Fatima claims she’s handling it “professionally,” but recommending your husband’s business to a man flirting with you at gunpoint is not it.
Zac finally throws the man’s purse at him (yes, a purse), tells him to leave, and passes out on the couch.
🍗 Meanwhile, Pam Ordered Wings
I mean … relatable. With Karen gone and everyone spiraling, Pam did the most realistic thing in this episode — she ordered food. That’s the kind of energy I can respect.
🥴 Maurice’s Vision Board Date
Maurice and Dylan cook, flirt, and talk about fashion. Cute but filler. Moving on.
🤝 Zac & Aaron Moment
Finally, something worth watching. Zac joins Aaron to search for Karen and they share a genuinely good scene about faith, fear, and fatherhood. Two men who’ve both lost babies finding common ground — this should’ve been the core of the episode.
📞 The Cliffhanger
The episode ends with Fatima getting a call from Karen. And that’s it. No resolution, no closure — just another “to be continued.”
